Introduction

Remember that you can also find step-by-step HIPAA and OSHA training information in your program's comprehensive PDF compliance guide, available on your dedicated resource page! All students will complete HIPAA Training, and most students will complete annual OSHA Training. Nursing and Pharmacy students will complete HIPAA Training on an annual basis. You'll find both trainings in HuskyCT by following the instructions provided below.

Complete Required Steps

All students must complete HIPAA Training in HuskyCT (Nursing and Pharmacy students will complete an annual HIPAA Training). Most other students will also need to complete an annual OSHA Training in HuskyCT. Complete these steps:

1. Log into HuskyCT and navigate to your Institution Page
2. Find the box labeled “Self-Enroll Courses and Organizations for Students”
3. Locate site called “Office of Clinical Placement Coordination (OCPC)” and click to enter; DO NOT ENTER ANY OTHER SITES
4. Once you’ve entered the OCPC site, click “Enroll” in the left menu and then “Submit”
5. Select your training module (HIPAA or OSHA) to open the training
6. Complete the training; you have two attempts to correctly answer 27 of 30 questions
