Complete Required Steps
You must document current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification. Alternative certifications are not acceptable. Complete these steps:
- If you don’t currently have the required certification, locate an appropriate course (OCPC recommends starting at the AHA website to use their Find a Course feature)
- Enroll in your course through the sponsoring organization and pay any enrollment fees
- Complete the didactic and skills assessment portions of the course
Document Completed Steps

- After completion of CPR course, you’ll receive instructions from your instructor to access your AHA BLS Provider certification card
